We were blessed with some glorious bright, sunny days over our Christmas stay allowing a couple of bracing walks along the seashore. The shoreline at Sizewell has changed over the last two years with an increasingly wide sandy stretch at low tide allowing us to stroll at the waters edge all the way round the point to Thorpeness and The Meare. Fuelled by hot coffee we walked back using the Suffolk Coastal Path along the cliffs. Such walks build up a good appetite ready to do justice to a Christmas Dinner (eaten to the backdrop of the ever changing sea view). It was a lovely ‘chilled’ Christmas break.
